Our Policy for Student Guidance

At My International Office (MYiO), our priority is to support students with honest, ethical, and transparent guidance throughout their study abroad journey. We follow the British Council UK Agent and Counsellor Training Programme and comply with the National Code of Ethical Practice to ensure students receive high-quality support.

How We Support You

At MYiO, we make your study journey smoother through a 4-step process:
  • Decide if the UK is the right destination for you: We help you assess whether studying in the UK aligns with your academic, professional, and personal goals.
  • Explore course options: Together, we identify institutions and programmes that match your academic qualifications, career aspirations, and lifestyle preferences.
  • Prepare for your studies: We guide you through gathering and submitting the necessary documents, preparing for your visa, and ensuring you’re ready for your journey.
  • Apply to your chosen institutions: Our team supports you with applications to UK universities and ensures you have the best chance of success.

Our Training & Standards

  • All MYiO staff providing student advice have completed the British Council Education Agent Training Programme.
  • Agents who complete this training are officially listed on the British Council website.
  • We are committed to being transparent, ethical, and fully compliant with UK regulations, including the National Code of Ethical Practice.
  • We ensure any partners we work with also maintain these same high standards.

Choosing an Education Agent

Choosing the right education agent is an important step in your journey. To help students make informed choices, the British Council has created a guide that explains what to expect from an agent and how to recognise good practice. 👉 Download the Student Guide to Choosing an Education Agent (PDF)
